Kyte BABY sleep bags are made from silky smooth rayon from bamboo and come in a rainbow of bright solid colours and modern prints. Kyte BABY™ is the softest bamboo sleep bags, layette, and blankets.
SAFETY: Sleep bags were designed as a safe alternative to having bulky blankets in the crib which can lead to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or suffocation. Sleep bags should be roomy in the body area to promote good hip development. Rather than tightly swaddling baby with their legs together and straight, baby’s legs should remain slightly bent and relaxed as they were in the womb to prevent hip dysplasia.
COMFORT: A sleep bag is essentially a baby-safe sleep bag with arm holes which keeps your baby at a comfortable temperature while sleeping. Kyte BABY sleep bags are available in two thermal resistances, which are referred to as TOG (sizing guide). The 1.0 TOG is recommended for spring and summer months while the 2.5 TOG is thicker and warmer for fall and winter months. Always keep a thermometer in the nursery to ensure you choose the correct TOG for each sleep. Because sleep bags cannot be kicked off like blankets, baby remains cozy and warm.
SIMPLE: Our sleep bags have a double zipper that zips from the top down or bottom up, making night time diapers changes fuss-free and easy. The top zipper has an enclosure over it which reduces the risk of choking or scratching baby’s face. Continuing with safety first, Kyte BABY sleep bags are free of any embellishments which can be pulled off and put in baby’s mouth.
SECURITY: The transitioning between bassinet to crib and later crib to bed is less overwhelming because of the comfort of the sleep bags. Placing baby in their sleep bags is a great indication to help baby realize it is time for sleep even when they are away from home. Sleep bags give baby a sense of security and routine.
Rayon from bamboo is an incredibly soft fabric that is both gentle and cozy to the touch. The fabric is breathable for comfort in any temperature and absorbs and evaporates humidity better than any other fabric.
The benefits of using bamboo begins with it being the most sustainable and versatile resource on the planet. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world and quickly adapts to different climates. Not only is it earth-friendly and does not need pesticides or harmful chemicals to grow, but it is also environmentally smart. Bamboo also minimizes CO2 and generates 35% more oxygen than trees.
